An arrangement of the Rocky theme, with the string and vocal parts tastefully adapted for the saxes, this is an uplifting number which represents musically the struggle of the 'Italian Stallion' depicted in the film. Using the same brass arrangement as on the original recording, it begins with the well-known trumpet fanfare that accompanies many American boxing bouts and develops to an exciting climax using an F/G - Cmaj7/G - Fmaj9 - E7sus4 chord progression. Arranged for 5444 big band, complete with score and parts.
